Support Persecuted Pastors’ Families in Crisis

When pastors are arrested for sharing the gospel, this creates great emotional pain and great financial challenges for the family. When you give we get these funds to families in need of financial assistance.

Lily is a church planter and works alongside her husband James. However, James has been in prison for the last five months for preaching the gospel. Since that time, Lily is leading the house church. It is not an easy task and it is difficult to cover the bills. The police keep harassing Lily every week; threatening her that if she does not close the church they will put her in prison as well. Lily and James have an 8-year-old son, so Lily is very concerned for her son and does not want to be arrested. However, she cannot do what the government tells her to do—take down the cross at her church and hang the current president’s photo at the church along with other Communist slogans and force her to attend a re-education camp. Because she is not cooperating with the government, Lily is facing arrest. Please pray for her, James, and their 8 year old son.

“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in Heaven.” Luke 6:22-23

Help Persecuted Families In Laos

My name is Mr. Chai from Laos. My family and I accepted Christ six months ago. I shared the gospel of Christ to my friends and neighbors and 6 families accepted Christ. The local authorities destroyed our houses and forced all of us out of the village because we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. We started to live in the rice field, but the local authorities forced us from the rice fields. We have all had to relocate to other villages. We are now living with other Christian families in other villages.

These are some of the family members who have been relocated to live with other Christian families and their temporary residence.

A gift of any amount will go a long way in helping families in Laos who are facing persecution.

Living Water Wells

Pastor R made a trip to Sita's village and shared the gospel with Sita, a 51 year old widow. This was the first time she ever heard about the one true God who loves her. She learned that Jesus died on a cross for her sins and that if she would believe in Jesus, she could have her sins forgiven and go to heaven. She immediately felt a great sense of peace and comfort. She prayed with Pastor R, giving her life to Jesus. She has become the first Christian in her entire village.

Sita immediately began to tell everyone in her village about Jesus. She is fearless. The villagers distanced themselves from Sita, they were angry at her for turning to another religion. They believed she would bring a curse on their village. They were ridiculing her and avoiding her. And most difficult of all, they refused to allow her to drink water from the village well, the only source of water for several miles.

Pastor R and Sita received funds to dig a new well and for the installation of the water pump. Pastor R is traveling to this village weekly to oversee the work and to disciple Sita in her new found faith and to plant a house church in her home to reach her village for Christ.

You can provide a living water well for $700.

"Let anyone who is thirsty come to me to drink. Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within them." John 7:37-38

Help Pastors Whose Homes and Churches are Being Destroyed

The photo shows a group of house church Christians praying outside their house church. The police have taken everything from this home and are not allowing anyone to go into the house, so they are praying outside the house.

Many pastors and their families' churches and homes are being destroyed. They need our prayers and also our financial support. A donation of any amount will be a great blessing to our brothers and sisters who are undergoing this type of persecution.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 5:10

Provide Legal Support

Some of our church planting pastors are falsely accused and arrested for simply sharing the gospel. Pastor Geoffrey was on his way to preach the gospel at a conference. He was falsely accused of being a terrorist. There was no trial. He was thrown into prison for one year. While in prison he led over 100 inmates to Christ. He was released on good behavior but now he has to provide a defense for the false accusations. When you give we get these funds to church planters to help pay their legal fees.

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3

"3,150 believers detained without trial, arrested, sentenced and imprisoned each year."

Provide Medical Aid

Mark&Suraj.JPG

Every month I hear about one of our church planting pastors who has suffered some form of physical persecution because of their commitment to sharing the gospel. Church planters face beatings, stonings, attacks with fists, clubs, mobs and even machetes. Pastor Suraj pictured on the hospital bed was sharing the gospel to a woman on a train in India. Radical Hindus surrounded him and threw him off the train when it was going full speed. I had the chance to meet him and pray for him as he was recovering. When you give we get these funds to church planters who need medical attention.

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11
