Learn how you can impact Myanmar

Myanmar is a county of 55 million people. The vast majority of the population is Buddhist at 90% and Christians at 4% of the population are still greatly persecuted by the current military regime. Yet in the midst of this persecution and hardship, courageous Christian pastors are sharing the gospel and many are turning to Christ.

Support a Pastor

On my last trip to Myanmar, I visited several house churches, meeting some of the most beautiful Christians I’ve ever met; men, women and children who are trusting the Lord and sharing God’s love and grace in their jungle communities. You can support one of these pastors for $50.00 per month.

Meet Pastor Chi

Chi grew up in Myanmar, near Rangoon in a strong Buddhist family. His family forced him to worship 27 dead spirits by eating specific food offerings. If he violated these offerings, spirits would attack him and he would become violently sick in his stomach, suffer headaches or vomit. In fear of these 27 spirits he ran away from his home to an area called Three Pagoda Pass and found himself attending a Christmas outreach event where he first heard about Jesus. For the next 3 years he studied God’s Word and is now a pastor and church planter. His vision is to go back to his family and plant the first church where he grew up. Chi told me, “My dream is to plant the first church where I grew up. I thought about Jesus’ words to the man Jesus healed, 'Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.'” (Mark 5:19) You can support a pastor like Chi for $50 per month.
